Warehouse & Office Co-ordinator (Full-Time)

Who we’re looking to recruit

We are looking to recruit an experienced, dedicated warehouse co-ordinator to manage our equipment, warehouse, workshop, office and studios.

The Role

You will be responsible for ensuring the warehouse and office are safe, well organised, clean and tidy. You will also have responsibility for the upkeep and maintenance of all equipment along with management of any temporary staff in the warehouse.

Personality

You must be confident in a warehouse and workshop environment; detail orientated and have strong time management skills. Our projects and equipment are out of the ordinary and often require a bespoke approach and unique problem solving. You will have a hands-on attitude and be as comfortable working solo, repairing equipment in our workshop with a soldering iron as directing a team conducting an inventory count.


 

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensuring the building is compliant with all H&S regulations
  • Management of equipment inventory system
  • Warehouse – keeping a clean and tidy warehouse space with a consistently up to date inventory
  • Working with Operations Manager, Development Manager and Project Designers on equipment capacity and project equipment scope
  • Management of all equipment check out / check in processes
  • Management of workshop, repairs, custom builds
  • General management of office and warehouse including deliveries, cleaners, waste removal, supplies etc. within quarterly budgets.
  • Some travel to support our project work on site may be required
  • Additional responsibilities and support of other roles as assigned by Managing Director from time to time
  • The Warehouse & Office Co-ordinator will report to the Operations Manager

 

Essential Experience/Skills Required

  • Previous warehouse management experience, ideally within the events sector
  • Mechanical Handling Skills
  • Experience of inventory management systems/software
  • Good oral and written communication skills
  • Basic electronics/workshop experience
  • Excellent IT skills include Microsoft Office and Google Suite programs
  • Full clean driving license and use of own vehicle
  • Eligible to work in the UK

 

Desirable Experience

  • H&S Training (if not training will be available)
  • Electronics / Woodworking / Metalwork Experience
  • Forks or Tele Handler Ticket
  • First Aid Training (if not training will be available)

 

Details & benefits

  • £20,000 to £22,000 per annum (depending on experience)
  • 35-hour week, with semi-flexible working hours working from our Portslade, Brighton warehouse/office
  • Due to the type of work evening and weekend work may be required on occasions for which TOIL is available
