Ithaca Audio collaborated with DDB South Africa to create this in depth sound design piece for the icon Volkswagen Beetle.

The ad recreates the sounds of a Beetle being unlocked, the sun roof being opened and then the car being driven away. To highlight the tag line “More outside on the inside”, we were tasked with recreating all these sounds using a collage of natural sounds. For example the sound of the car engine starting is a combination of ducks, chaffinches, a flock of pigeons taking off and two horses.
