For BMW’s new 3 series radio campaign we created a unique combination of lush classical orchestration and precise sound design. The spot features the roaring sound of a BMW 3 series as it moves up through the gears. Complimenting this, every change of gear is represented by a new chord and further development of the music. We carefully blended the sounds of each gear range with each chord, taking individual revs as musical accents until the whole piece worked together in harmony, with the music and sound design flowing as a driving sequence providing a feeling of rousing, exciting sophistication.
